General information

The Galaxy Diver II yacht offers both naturalist and diving itineraries and it rotates each week between a naturalist itinerary and a live-aboard dive itinerary. This yacht will take you to the most incredible diving sites in the Galapagos Islands and will allow you to discover its hidden underwater galaxy, offering a unique experience for diving lovers. Explore the great variety of underwater life in this marine reserve with our experienced staff and cutting-edge dive equipment. Live a world-class diving experience surrounded by sharks, whales, manta rays, rays, turtles, penguins, iguanas, sea lions and much more, all in one place.

Double and twin cabins are available aboard the Galaxy Diver II, all with a private bathroom, air conditioning and hair dryer. The charming lounge and sundeck are the perfect setting to kick back and relax. The comfortable lounge has a TV, DVD, small library and toy library. The Galaxy Diver II restaurant is located on the main deck, where you can enjoy delicious and varied cuisine of national and international dishes, served as a menu and buffet. There’s also a purified water station and hot drinks available 24 hours a day.

• Please note the first and last days are basically travel days. On the first day you will only do an afternoon activity and on the last day there is only time to do a brief morning visit before going to the airport for your flight back to the mainland.

About the diving itinerary:
• The cruise highly recommends that divers bring their own gear.
• All guests must carry their diving certification cards for verification. Photo copies will not be accepted. Please bring your certification card and log book(s) for verification of your experience.
• The diving is considered advanced as it occurs in the presence of strong currents, cold water and limited visibility. The diving also takes place from zodiacs. We recommend that you have more than 100 logged dives and have logged at least one dive within the 6 months prior to boarding the vessel.
