Sacha Lodge is a luxury class lodge located in a private 5000 acre reserve deep in the Amazon, accessed from Coca. Visit Sacha Lodge's 940-foot long canopy walkway and tower, giving unparalleled views of the tree tops and wildlife! The lodging was carefully designed to offer comfort for the guests yet preserve the environment and rainforest ambience. Sacha Lodge offers gourmet food, comfortable lodging, and some of the best naturalist guides in the whole Amazon area.
All of the cabins, with high thatched roofs and private shaded terraces, are constructed with traditional materials and nestle well concealed into the lush surroundings. Each of the rooms, which include single, double and triple accommodations, provides a private bathroom with a hot shower. You get fresh towels every day and there are dispensers with biodegradable soap and shampoo in the showers. All cabins are screened against insects and have air conditioning and ceiling fans above two comfortable double beds. Throughout the lodge 24-hour electricity is provided by a distant, nearly inaudible generator.
The 4 and 5 day tours can start and end on every day of the week except on Sundays. Activities at Sacha Lodge are flexible and can be adapted to your interests; the activities mentioned in the itinerary are an example of the different options. Please note that you will be combined with other passengers for the activities. For bird-lovers in particular this is considered to be one of the best lodges in Latin America!
